 He graduated from School of Medicine, University of Patras, in 1995. He completed his Residency and received his Specialty Degree in January 2005. Since 2005, he has been running his private Urology Clinic. He worked for 4 years (2006-2010) as a Urologist in the Social Security Institute (IKA) of Kilkis, while working in his private clinic. In 2010, he received a 6-month Specialization Training in Ultrasound Practice of the Genitourinary Tract and in Transrectal Ultrasound-guided Prostate Biopsy at the Hippocrates Hospital of Thessaloniki. He has given numerous oral presentations in conferences in Greece and abroad, two of which have been awarded in Greek conferences, and has published one paper in an international journal and three papers in Greek scientific journals. He has given several lectures as an Invited Speaker at conferences and workshops. He is a member of the Hellenic Urological Association (HUA.), European Association of Urology (EAU), European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) and Societe Internationale d'Urologie (SIU).
